Project Description

Mayor Kitty Piercy and David Piercy wanted to expand the floor space and storage capacity of their home while maintaining the character of the 1930’s English cottage-style house. We remodeled two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a den, a laundry room, and the mayor’s home office—all on a moderate budget—by focusing on small changes that would make a big impact. We used built-ins throughout the house for extra storage capacity, full lite converging pocket doors in the office to bring natural light to the stairway, and installed a stackable washer and dryer that allowed us to expand the downstairs bathroom.
