Project Description

The Geismans built their mid-century modern home in 1965. Life transitions and Sandra’s astute modern sensibilities prompted her to remodel and update the 48-year-old kitchen. Our task was to improve the function and feel of the kitchen while working within the existing building envelope and respecting the architectural style of the home. A redesigned kitchen peninsula and updated lighting gave the room the contemporary feel the homeowner was after. To improve the kitchen’s functionality, we updated to modern appliances, created more kitchen work space, and added cabinetry that was both functional and efficient.
