Doing Well While Doing Good

At Rainbow Valley, we know that doing well goes hand-in-hand with doing good. We are committed to sustainability, to enhancing the lives of our clients, to creating family-wage jobs with health insurance benefits, and to being a positive contributor to our community. We have many employees that have been with us for decades, which is something we take great pride in. In our daily work, we strive to make the design-build process as rewarding and enjoyable for our clients as we possibly can.

Our Humble Beginnings

In 1971, a young designer named Stephen Williams lived on Rainbow Valley Road outside of Eugene. He joined with a group of carpenters to form a small design-build company, and Rainbow Valley Design and Construction was born. Rainbow Valley has become an award-winning firm and one of Oregon’s leaders in sustainable design and construction.

Commitment to Sustainability

Rainbow Valley is in the business of creating beauty that adds to the richness and splendor of a natural landscape. That is why we choose to be a sustainable company. From how we design and build, to how we run our business, being healthy, socially responsible and accountable to the environment is a top priority. We are RE:think certified, and have been named one of the 2015 “100 Best Green Companies To Work for In Oregon” by Oregon Business magazine.

Awards and Recognition

We’re always happy to receive recognition for our work. The awards make us proud, but more importantly, they are indicative of the view of our peers and other professionals about the quality of our design and craftsmanship. And they assure our clients that they are working with a firm that cares about quality throughout.
